Another wedding I attended. Thought I'd post the traditional Filipino garb for la_aquarius. Check out the different patterns at the front of the barong. :)

Mich, thanks for the shout out! :D Ganda talaga ang mga pictures. I love the little boy's blue barong. And the groomsmen's barong is especially beautiful (the pattern in the front).

I just read that about them being transparent so no weapons could be concealed. Maybe a post is in order... :D

Thanks again! I'll have to send you pictures after my cousin's wedding in July.

Liked your dress too :D. Were you a bridesmaid?

Thank you! No, but I did help out on the 'writing' bits (the wedding invites, the program, MC, the bride's speech!)

but just for your viewing pleasure:

Is she a relative of yours (the pinay, not the hungarian ;D)?

Those are very tasteful bridesmaid dresses. The sweaters are lovely (and probably merciful too -- isn't it winter there now?!). Usually, I feel sorry for the bridesmaids because their dresses are so hideous! :D

hehehe. no, she's not. though i'd happily lie and say she's from my blood line. :D in case any of your friends want her number, please let them know that she's already married!:P

omg. you don't say! i've worn enough faux fashionable bridesmaid gowns to last me a lifetime.*shudders on recollection*

I've only worn tuxes, no barongs yet, but you can't really go wrong with those (unless, of course, you have the ruffles on the shirt -- yikes! "Wedding Singer", anyone?)

this picture was taken three weeks ago. midday, not cold at all! but Australian winter is very mild. 16 degrees tomorrow, that's practically 'summer' by London standards.

Hm, about 60.8 deg Fahrenheit, if my calculations are correct (and they may be totally off; math is not my strong suit).

That's not bad at all! I guess you probably don't see a lot of snow in your parts! ;d
