Sydney Kings vs Talk n Text
Spent the day with S* and T* to watch Philippines-based Bball team Talk n Text play against Sydney Kings. I thought Sydney Kings would thrash Talk n Text but it turned out to be a good game, with around ten points difference between them by the end of it. However, you can tell that the Kings play on a different level, and supposedly those who were there were the second stringers.
The surprise of the afternoon was Talk n Text’s #3 player Alapag. He’s this Filipino guy who’s a boy wonder from a US college team. I don’t know, he was probably a mere 5’6 but was lightning fast and played a mean game.
I took a photo with Willie Miller??? and a few other players. As for Sydney Kings, there’s this guy who sort of looked like Usher except way taller who dunked a lot. He was good.
Honeycutt, the import, was one of the top scorers though he was crap on the free throw line. How’s that possible?
Jules was there too. Hahaha. :P Yes, I was enjoying the game. :D
The poor girls next to me probably didn’t appreciate my cheering and booing but what was I gonna do, lie there like a log? :P
S* and T* are avid bball fans. S* can’t wait for the NBA championship game. Detroit Pistons vs San Antonio Spurs? Must try and watch that one.
