Last night I discovered Filipino artist Bencab, or Benedicto Cabrera. He is widely hailed as the master of Philippine Contemporary Art. I decided to google his website and found the images below. i'm glad. i dont know. supposed to be expensive in Philippine Peso term but I'm sure you can afford it in dollars. :P although, even reprints fetch $1000USD so dey still dont come cheap. :)

Excellent. yeah, kaya ko siya na-discover kasi pinuntahan ko yung bahay ng isa sa pinsan niya sa australia. biro mo, halos 14 paintings ata na 1 meter by 1meter ang dimension, sa bahay niya. paintings niya at ng kapatid niyang si Salvador or 'Bading'. omg. i almost died. and the paintings were made before they became famous so i can only imagine how much they're worth now. they are both very talented indeed.
