Casino Royale
Finally got round to watching this one. I think Daniel Craig is probably the most plausible James Bond yet and, with apologies to Sir Sean, may even be my favourite.
As for the movie, it was okay, for most of the film more than okay. I enjoyed it for what it was. Then someone inexplicably shot the villain in the head, we shifted gears abruptly, and I honestly thought the story had slipped its moorings and drifted into some sort of sappy dream sequence. But sadly, no, it had only slipped its moorings.
