First day away from school in ___________ days?
Today was the first day in weeks that I will not be heading into school for at least part of (or almost all of...) the day. Since winter break, I believe I've been on campus every day with the exception of the three snow days and ONE Saturday afternoon....
The show was spectacularly gorgeous, and I am so grateful for the team effort that manifested to make it shine so... Still, this is not sustainable, and today I can feel the sadness that comes from finally being able to breath a little, to wake without needing to head towards the theater, or to hang art work in the gallery, or to do paper work in my office, or to start digging out from the stacks of grading....
