My Weekend

So here's my weekend.

Saturday I get up at 7am to take Chris to work. Come home and sit at my computer toying around with WoW while waiting for the Mall to open (I needed to go to Walmart to pick up some stuff, which is located in our local mall, since I was going that way anyway, I wanted to drop by Game Stop, which didn't open till 11 am.)

I'm messing around with my mage who is so close to exalted with Wyrmrest Accords, so I'm doing my final round of daily quests for rep. I get this whisper from a random person "Hi!", to which I respond "Hello." and I get invited to join their group, which, being bored, I do. So it turns out its this "kid" and supposedly his girlfriend and someone else questing. Apparently this guy thought I was his friend or something. I should have said something, but I figured "maybe he'll figure it out." So as I'm doing my dailies, I'm reading the chat. And I must say this, if these people are our future, heaven help us. I don't think a SINGLE word they typed was spelled correctly. It was awful. I mean, I'm not the best speller, but I at least attempt to spell. They didn't even bother. So finally, after finishing my dailies, I had enough and logged off. It was only 8:30, and I still have time to kill. Feeling a bit tired I laid down for a nap.....

Waking up at 1:30 I realize I had fubared myself completely. I hop out of bed, take a shower and hit the road. I decided to completely skip going to walmart, which, after you read the rest, you'll understand now why I think I should have went. I drive to the local Stop and Shop (grocery store) to pick up our week supplies. Spotting a parking space I start to pull in..... CRUNCH!!!!!!! Oh shit. I realize something is wrong. I get out of the car to see. The other car was not parked right, their driver side rear end was WAY over the line. Now let me point out, here, we don't have a single line to mark a space. We have a BOX two lines and a blank space, approximately a foot to two feet wide divide each space. This person's rear tire was sitting passed the second line, in my space. I look at the car, and sure enough, there's damage to both the doors on the driver side. Damnit. So what do I do... What can I do?? What should I do?? I did the right thing, or so I'm told. I go into the store and tell the woman at the customer service desk. We call the police and I report it. I go back out the car to wait for them. 30 minutes later the cop shows up. The driver of the other vehicle hasn't. The cop parks and I tell him what happened. I give him my license and car registration, and about the time two women come walking up. Here's the driver. She gets her information and gives it to the police officer. About 10 minutes later he comes back with a accident report which he gives both of us a copy. Now here's the kicker. he said we could deal with this one of two ways. She could get an estimate of repairs and I could pay out of pocket, or we could let the insurance companies handle it. My jaw hit the ground. Here this woman parked in two spots, and I'm the one at fault. I love the system. So now I have to call my insurance and report this so they can deal with it. I don't have the kind of cash it will take to repair her car. Oh well, life sucks.

And THAT'S just Saturday.....
