So my days are typically spent with children over an age range of about twelve years and then I have a class of a couple of adults. This is usually the highpoint of my day and after they took me out for drinks I agreed to move the focus of class conversation from Conan the Barbarian to other topics.
This week it was StarCraft. And how there never seems to be enough Pylons. And what a metaphor for happiness that damned Vespene Gas is.
.....and my jaw dropping amazement at the league of professional StarCraft players.
Inappropiate Observation: Korea is a very busy place. Everywhere, you will see notice people running from the cars and into buildings, moving frantically from office to office, sliding on improvised bobsleds from one bar to yet another Karoke themed bar, etc. This all looks like everyone is working at this almost inhuman pace and efficiency. And this is somewhat true, but a lot of it is this seemingly nation-wide tendenacy to do everything last-minute. As a result, everyone seems busy. It's just a cultural thing, I guess.
Anyhooo.... I must construct Additional Pylons.
