Well lets see where to begin...
Classes are going pretty well..I'm kicking major ass in CS 101 I practically sleep in that class...Poli Sci 245 (my highest level course this year) is going pretty darn well too...the teacher is just awesome. ROTC lecture wont be a problem, its historyyyyy....lol...Poli Sci 130 is going to be the one I might have a little trouble with...thats because the teacher is a dick and assigns 45-60 pages of reading required each night...which you need to "grasp" every "concept"...African American studies 113 wont be too hard save the research paper...the guy is pretty cool. So overall classes are pretty good!
Fraternity...we pledged 24-26 guys..I cant remember the exact number. Johannes, and Barrett from my high school rushed...and Bryan Pierick who is in ROTC with me pledged also. So I think I might be a big brother to at least 1, maybe ever 2 new guys...which would be suhweet. Been pretty busy with activities here and there.
ROTC has been consuming most of my time outside of studying and Breanna. PT twice a week at 6am on monday and thursday= the suck...I already feel me getting back in shape though which is fantastic. Some of the upperclassmen are just jerk offs this year because they thing being a POC (Professional Officer Cadet) means something HUGE...though they still aren't jack didley shit until they get commissioned. we had LOD yesterday which is basically 6 hours of us just working our asses off while the POC stand around and "watch"...4-5 mile formation run in which I served as a flight commander...wasn't too bad actually, it was kind of fun since I got to call cadence and jodi's...though it was hard to do when being out of breath and yelling, while running/gasping for air. I led the formation for the rest of out Physical Training activities that morning, I slipped up here and there but no biggie. Then they still had me command my Bravo flight...this lasted for the next 2 hours...so after it was all over I served as flight commander for the 4 hours...more then any other person the whole day. The other 2 hours were spent as guide on (the flag) which has a whole set of particular procedures which I didn't know any of them...so yeah that was joyful learning the hard way.../sigh...It was frustrating when we were supposed to split up the leadership positions among all of the sophomores and none of the others were stepping up for anything...oh well...I'll be prepared for field training and they wont.
Lastly but certainly not least...Breanna...she's just fantastic...I met her parents last weekend at Oktoberfest, and then she met my mom and step dad at the air show...Good time in deed for both. I had dinner with her and her parents on Weds also. That went exceptionally well...Both of them like be quite considerably. They ask her to Bring me to stuff or home...she wants some more time before she thinks I'm ready for all of that...lol. Her dad actually called Jones Hall and asked for my number the other day...breanna didn't have her phone with her the whole day since she doesn't take it to class...and he was worried...Course I knew where she was, so I told him...I practically know her whole schedule. I got a good laugh out of all of it...instead of calling any number of friends from her high school that live here...he chose to call me =). She's just like no other girl I've ever fallen for, and the great thing is she treats me amazingly...which is how it should be.
Take care everyone.
