Joke gone bad

Okay, so apparently...what you want to make you sure you NEVER do is pretend you have no clue where your brother is when he's with you the entire time. Let me elaborate....So me and my brother went shopping today. No one was home and we didn't leave any note saying where we were. Later I got a phone call from my mom asking if I knew where Marty (My brother-uh doi!) was. I told her that I had no clue and he was gone before I got up. So then, she started thinking to herself if he told her where he was going but just forgot. I told her that's probably what it was, since she forgets all the time. So then I ended the conversation telling her I hope she finds him. So my brother and I went out to eat, then headed home. When we arrived home, my mom's car was there, but she wasn't in the house at all, we went back outstide and she comes across the corner, on the verge of tears, saying that she doesn't know where he is. Then she see's him and was like 'where were you', then we kinda explained it. Boy! She wasn't really happy with us. Heh. Okay, so she called my sister...about 4 or 5 of Marty's close friends. She called our dad. She was thinking about calling one of our brothers. She was pretty close to calling the police. I'm really glad that it didn't come to that. I felt bad enough as it was. I really didn't think that she'd go through all of that. I sorta just figured she'd be like 'Oh, he must just be at his friends'...so anyways, she was a little mad. But wasn't very long before she was just happy that he was okay. I told her just how sorry I was and she knows I felt bad. I really did, I still DO. I mean, it wasn't even supposed to last longer than our phone conversation. I dont know why i didnt just tell her before I got off the phone with her. Oh well, everybody's okay, now. Lol. Lesson WAS learned. I'll never do that again....well I won't let it get that bad. ;)
