Sleepless before Seattle
In a few hours, i am going on a business trip to Seattle. The last time i went to Seattle for business, i ended up going to Space Needle because my co-worker Nishant had never been there. We walked around Pike Place endlessly while I amused myself by asking all of the booth owners the dumbest questions. I recall asking some lady selling pens if she sold any left handed pens - something totally not funny. But she totally went with it just to get me to buy. I was laughing to myself at how hard she was working to sell me a dumb $10 pen. Anyway, it was lame. Lame can be fun with the right person, but generally doing things with a co-worker is lame-lame.
This time, i am going with my boss Dave. He is a pretty cool guy, all things considered. My guess is that he is going to try to get me to be drankin' and partyin'. Since i am the likely one to *not* want to do these things, i am actually the less cool of the two of us. Maybe that's a good thing. And since i want to avoid any more trips to Space Needle, i want to go somewhere i will like. What are cool bars in Seattle? The Comet seems to be one, but no shows on a Wednesday. Can anyone clue me in? Paul suggested i hang out with Jesse from the Fe Fi Fo Fums. Maybe he could turn my co-workers into Goofateers.
