Better off
I decided it was time to spend some of my hard-earned Real Networks stock option money by taking all of my Texas friends who moved to California (unfortunately, minus 1) out to dinner. There were two guests of honor - Cindy, who just turned 30, and one of my best friends, Brad. Brad just got back from living in Germany and we hadn't seen each other in 5 or 6 years. He told me i looked just the same, and i told him he looked just the same except with thinner hair. It was a great night.
As God's way of keeping me in check so as not to think life is perfect, my car got broken into that night. I love God's mysterious plans. I was also guided by Him to skip work today. Thanks God, i needed that.
