05/12/06So that show was grrrreat! I love small venues, especially when you get them all dancing to the sound of your music. Although the filming was lacking (the zoom lever is that little swivel just above the viewfinder ADAM!) Everyone likes us. I know that sounds pretty self righteous or conseeeeeeded but I have not heard (knock on wood) one bogus thing said to us or about us EVER! Does anyone know what that means…the critics will hate us. All those AP.net posters probably don’t like “this band from Texas” and yes it’s true. Every time Matt submits news about our band they NEVER post it. Bogus. They need to come to a show and see hat we have got. And we don’t just make fans, we make friends. Developing relationships around the country since 2003! Now I neeed to clear my head. Bigtime. We are in Idaho right now killing time before the show at a local b&n. I drove last night from 12:43 until the sun came up, If I knew what time that was I would write it down but I have no clue. The sun came up and I went down. THE END…wait then I ate oranges and we had a contest to see who could punch a dude in a wheelchair the farthest. We put a flier on his chair and he shook our hand, WAY too hard, he was a vietnam vet and had shell shock, I have pictures to prove it. Check that shit out, and I made that whole punching thing up. He had a cobra tight grip and could probably kill us all in one swing. Either that or take out his gun and shoot us.
05/13/06At a Mall Just outside of Spokane, WA. The show in Idaho was….hmmmm. We played in a bar/venue with a really nice crowd of drunk supportive people. I am TIRED of playing in bars. I want to open for a tour. A CHALLENGE PLEASE!! Don’t get me wrong, bars are well bars. An ego boost as Matt so tastefully put it, and I agree with him. We played for more than two hours! Fun? Yeah sure but looooooooooong. I like playing a thirty minute set. That is the best length, forty five is fun but when you start getting into the hour hour and a half set time that’s pushing it. Blink 182 plays for an hour and fifteen minutes. To put it into perspective. And something just dawned on me…I am tired and the van smells like feet. Sweeeeeet. The air is really dry up here and my lips are chapped so do me a favor and blow me a nice wet kiss to moisten them up. Get ready Washington, the last time we played here we opened for Forgive Durden before they were signed to FBR, that was a fun challenging show, more like that please, don’t tease and I will try to put your pain at ease. And yes, I’m a rapper.
