I was actually shorted listed for a job at MOTAT here in Auckland, which I was *very* startled by. (For those of you who don't live in NZ, MOTAT is the Museum of Transport and Technology, and is one of the bigger museums here in Auckland.) I don't know if I've got the job yet or not, as they're still interviewing people, hopefully I will get it as it would be a massive stepping stone towards getting a better job somewhere like the big Auckland Museum and/or Te Papa. (Again for non-NZers, Te Papa is the "Museum of New Zealand", which is in Wellington and is essentially the Wellington Mueseum).
Hopefully I will be getting something better fast, as I've having to sell stuff on Trade Me, (the NZ version of ebay), just to get by :P
