i'm one of those people who doesn't know what you're talking about, sorry!

but i have to ask, this is nick malyan right? i read your entry on sociologists and wondered. in case you're wondering why i'm asking, this is sam douglas from new college. if you're not, just ignore this, and we can pretend it never happened ;)

hey! i'm fine, how are you? i'm in the middle of exams at the moment, so i'm spending most of my time at my desk, bored. it's not that i don't love studying sociology, i just hate being forced to do little else. livejournal can be suprisingly small - there's a girl on my friends list who commented on my entry about a gig i went to a couple of years ago, as she's been there too, and it turned out she went to the sixth firm centre with some of my best friends.

my journal isn't that interesting, particularly at the minute when i really have nothing to say, but i'm kind of attached to it. it's not friends only at all - there's only the odd friends-only post.

i'm adding you to my friends list, if you don't mind. it needs more sociology students ;)

of course i don't mind, i have pitifully few friends anyway. but i quite like that. i sometimes pretend it's very elite and only for those who are sophisticated enough
anyhow so far i havent really come across anyone i know until you but then i haven't been looking so that is probably why, good to hear from you anyway and im pleased that you are also still being motivated by the sociology. i am eternally grateful to you for doing so well in all of your other exams that i got the outstanding achievment in sociology award. apparently you were going to get it but your overall achievment meant you couldn't have it.so now i have my first ever award. perhaps i will keep it with my oscars

haha...well, you deserved that outstanding achievement award! that was a fun evening - you wouldn't get to take home magical helium balloons from the oscars ;)

some people actually are elitist about their lj friends, rather than just pretending to be. i like to laugh at them.
