Stopover: screencaps

Nov 10, 1979 21:15

Bodie (Lewis Collins), Doyle (Martin Shaw), and Cowley (Gordon Jackson) escort stowaway Meredith (James
Laurenson) from the docks. Kodai (Michael Gothard) makes his escape after taking a shot at them.

Bodie and Doyle quibble over who chases after him first, as Kodai climbs onto a roof.

Kodai makes off across the rooftops.

The KGB man ambushes Bodie in a warehouse.

Kodai runs into an empty shed where Doyle tries to trap him.

It looks as if there’s no escape.

But Kodai’s driver Malenski (Morgan Sheppard) arrives to get him out. Kodai fires on Bodie as they drive away.

Kodai blames Meredith, who is working with him, for blocking his shot at Cowley.

Radouk (Morris Perry) advises Meredith to return to Cowley and stick to his story.

Cowley has a pleasant chat with Kodai, an old adversary he once wounded.

Kodai goes to the safe house where Meredith has been taken, and kills him.

Bodie fires at him and misses.

Again, Kodai gets away.

Cowley and Kodai negotiate.

Having made a deal he doesn’t intend to keep, Kodai goes to a military airbase by helicopter.

He meets with Cowley, demands the money and identity papers as arranged …

… and then shoots Cowley - not part of the deal.

He escapes again.

Not knowing that Cowley was wearing a bullet-proof vest, he tells Radouk that Cowley is dead.

CI5 catch up with them in some woods.

Cowley and Doyle keep Kodai and Radouk talking.

Bodie sneaks around behind them …

… and takes his shot.
