A day into the new book.

My apologies greatly for not posting more recently. I hope that all is well with what you do in life as well. As for me. I am working and gathering selections of short stories that I have and will complete to become the next published book.

More on that shortly...

I would like to thank all who have purchased my latest book:

"Forest of Caves: The Darkest Garden"

The Darkest Garden was a very good piece that I worked on. I wrote this while drinking a total of six bottles of Gentleman Jack Daniel's (Not all in one sitting, but during the entire span of the piece). I consider this poem (over 8,000 words long) my baby in many respects.

The main character indeed went through a troubling meditation while dealing with his personal demons during the whole span of this. Going on above him was a very damaging war with battle space craft. During his meditation it is very passionate, filled with romantic interludes, dark phenomenon, past memories that held deep within, and many other trials and tribulations held within himself that he takes on in this book.

I wrote this book only during the late evening hours with candle light and music. I placed my headphones on, pushed play on my itunes player, lit a few candles, then grabbed and poured a double straight of Gentleman Jack and began writing for hours at a time. The piece was written in free verse, then later edited in small portions of the book to create what you read when the book was published for public reading.

I was living in the living room (yes, the living room) of my friend Stacy and Gina's Oakland, California three bedroom apartment at the time, in which later I moved into one of the rooms, since the other tenant at the time found a new home elsewhere. I honestly do say I miss that place now, but we all must move on.

Thought I would brave a bit of history during the time of writing that book. It is the least that I can do.

------------------Moving on-----------------------------

As for the Short Story Collection:

After months of thinking about the title of this new collection of short stories, I finally came up with the title. Here it is:

The Dreamer is Still Asleep
---------------------------
Short Stories for Those Haunted

It is indeed going to be a darker collection of work. I will not go into further detail on it,
but yes, "The Dreamer is Still Asleep" is one of the titles in the collection.

Stay tuned.
