tried throwing together a wind thing recording instead of composing notation
learned that
1. quantizing it, or the computer playing it, really does suck the life out of it, and proper samples, and playing it without quantizing it but on time, sounds amazing
2. writing proper music while recording it is impossible because the harmonies and instrumentation are too complex. so i confirmed i need to write it out to make the music itself good, then play it to make the recording good
as much as it pains me not to record/compose, i really just need to focus on playing even more and put aside those dreams of having that song that will make people respect me
i just can't achieve it right now. maybe if someone else played it, but i am not doing that
