needed a short art goal today as i was at my parents house (mostly kickin peoples asses at starcraft)
decided to listen to hymn to promise tracks and identify what exactly i didn't like about it that needed fixing.
lacks
-cohesion
-performance dynamic/expression
-just that flawlessness that brings awe to a mix. i've achieved that with a couple of songs but they were simpler to play. my original idea was to write a cd i could play and i definitely did not do that :(
at this point i do not think another re recording of the song will help much. i need to record easier music (vgmixes, covers) to hone my chops. recording and otherwise. that also just happens to be the type of stuff that people who do not know me will actually care about. so that is a win win anyways.
art goal i am definitely liking. overall productivity is going down due to starcraft and general laziness, but it seems like i am getting more accomplished with a concrete deliverable each day.
