Updating all around!
I'm finished my exams. Language practice went better than I'd expected, and I was pleased to get a 72 on all my final papers (sociolinguistics, modern france, and philosophy). I'm still getting the hang of it, because I know I can do better, but these are acceptable marks now.
Samantha - she's wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. She made me a pokemon coaster, we game, talk about science together. I'm just really really happy to have her. She's dropping by tomorrow to help take care of me while I recover from the surgery. We'll probably watch Casanova, maybe some Doctor Who, or read some Game of Thrones. I'm five chapters in, and enjoying it more than I did The Summer Tree. Amanda's really excited that I'm reading it too. :)
Like I said, I had some teeth pulled this afternoon. Starr and Bannock refered to them as my "e"s, located on my bottom row. Starr froze my jaw and, quite literally,pulled the tooth free. Didn't feel a thing, and it felt pretty cool actually. Mum and Starr were worried I would be faint after the pulling, but I felt fine. Maybe a bit dizzy, but it wasn't until I got home that I finally collapsed. I put on my 'relaxation' playlist and just dozed off. Two hours of napping later, and the swelling has just finished going down. It was a 'really' nice nap too. I just felt peaceful. Finished school, and looking forward to my marks, I've got more hours at work, a gorgeous girlfriend, and I've got a wonderful summer to look forward to.
Oh, and birthday coming up. Samantha says she has a nice surprise set up for me. I'm REALLY excited to find out what it is, but she won't tell me ANY hints!
