our lovely physician - "Dr. Larry", took his little light and looked in my eye, and said, "ewww...", then he looked in my throat and said "hmmmm...", when he looked in my ear, he said, "jesus...", and then he listened to my lungs and said, "oh god".... then he tapped on my forehead and said, "does this hurt??" Well it did.
He said I had something in latin that, loosely converted in English to walking pneumonia, which isn't really pneumonia, it's more like bronchitis, but hey, whatever, it's really not any of those things, and my left ear looks really inflamed (from the inside) - imagine how it feels.
So he gave me a little slip of paper for some antibiotics and sent me home. 24 hours later, I don't feel a heck of a lot better. I rallied last night to watch Stargate SG-1 and SG-Atlantis (or most of it) and I was on and off awake during Battlestar Galactica, but I couldn't tell you what happened, I just had a momentarty flash on how pretty Apollo really is.
I'm crawling back in bed now for another couple of hours to see if that helps.
