Oh, the irony
I just realized why I have such a hard time writing this chapter.
It was my plan all along to have the Doctor out of his element, out of time, out of place (well, he's always out of place) out of places to hide or run to and he has to sit still and take an emotional beating.
Well, the last thing is perfectly fine, but everything else...
Usually there are the secondary characters to help out, but he's all alone now.
And it doesn't feel like Doctor Who anymore...and that's why my insides are objecting...fighting every word of it...screaming that it's not right....when I intentionally put myself into this position in the first place.
I made my story not X...and now I can't finish my story...because it's not X.
