1. For the past couple of months, I've been having a sh**ty Globe connection. It keeps getting disconnected. It's especially a hassle when working from home, because getting disconnected from VPN translates many more reconnections. Globe had nothing to say except that they're really experiencing intermittent connections.
2. I tried on four of my non-stretch jeans which fit me well before I left for Poland.
They don't fit me anymore.
One was my favorite pair of jeans since college. But I'm not letting them go. I still have hope. I haven't been dieting hard but there are cases when I stop myself from having something more as I would normally have. And I try to go to the gym for some treadmill but I can't say I do it often because I don't have the luxury of time, and sometimes when I'm tired from work I just want to rest when I get home.
Does anyone know where I can find bootleg/flare jeans with the classic fit (i.e., not skinny, not so low-rise) and made of non-stretch material? I seem to have a hard time finding such nowadays. And I notice that I always have to wear belts with all of my stretch pants (or else...) so I want to find jeans I don't have to wear belts with.
3. My work laptop is 2 months from turning 4 years old. Our laptop refresh is supposed to be every 3 years. You do the math.
I won't even start on how turtle-slow it has become, and how it sometimes affects my productivity. We were so excited last year, on our third year, knowing our laptops were due to be refreshed. Now they're way overdue and there's nothing we can do but wait and wait and wait. A batchmate of mine has had a couple of service laptops already because her original nc4000 already gave up a long time ago. My other batchmade has had her laptop adapter blow up and trigger the fire alarm during her business trip.
