Part I: Christmas Wishlist
{This list is subject to change without prior notification}
1. win a car in a raffle draw (wishful thinking)
2. Charmed books (House of Shards, Demon Doppelgangers, Hurricane Hex, As Puck Would Have It, Phoebe Who?) or any Charmed collectibles (such as The Book of Shadows or 2007 calendar or some other collectible) - I know House of Shards is available in Powerbooks, because I just bought Light of the World yesterday
3. CD case (I've already filled up my soccer ball and hamburger CD cases)
4. VNC receipts (not even the sandals, just receipts when you bought a pair for you or perhaps as gift for your mother or someone else) - in return, you can ask me to go with you anytime when you want to buy shoes and use my privilege card (which I would have redeemed with your help with receipt collection)
Speaking of VNC, two straight nights I've had a dream about it. Yesterday, it was about their black/grey sandals that I wanted. Last night it was about my friend whom I was encouraging to buy a pair of VNC shoes because she agreed to give me the receipt. Obssessed?!
5. DVDs (American Dreamz, Lovewrecked) - pirated will do, as long as it's the DVD copy version
6. Blouses I can wear to the office
and the non-tangibles...
1. peace of mind, time with my family, and a good rest (do a way with stress!)
2. happiness and blessings for my family and friends
3. to be able to accomplish the things I need to accomplish on time
Part II: Stress
Been really stressed lately, and came down with colds. So now I'm home, sick, yet still working. And it's still morning. Tonight, I have a shift until tomorrow morning. And tomorrow afternoon, I have to conduct a training. Any idea how stressful my work is? Here's a more vivid picture - my schedule this week and next week. I won't even include the previous weeks, they were as stressful as these two.
Week I:
Monday - work in the office during the day, since I got a lot of work to do
Then NALA shift at night, from 11pm to Tuesday 5am
Tuesday - shift ended at 5am, slept for 4 hours and woke up remembering things I needed to do, and couldn't sleep anymore.
Worked til late afternoon.
Attended training at night.
Wednesday - woke up sick with colds. worked during morning
conducted training in the afternoon
attended meetings in the afternoon
Thursday - woke up early remembering work I needed to do, and couldn't sleep anymore
Then NALA shift at night, from 11pm to Friday 5am
Friday - shift ends at 5am, sleep for a few hours
conduct training at 3pm
Week II:
Monday - shift ends at 5am, then attend training at 1:30pm
Tuesday - work Asia time
HP Christmas party at night
Wednesday - conduct two trainings starting 10am, and have EMEA shift until 11pm
Thursday - will work Asia time, and have EMEA shift until 11pm
Friday - conduct a training at 10am, and continue working til afternoon
team christmas party at night
An 8-hour work day is a MYTH for me. Always has been.
And my shifts have been harassing lately, with 80-100 tickets in the queue. And it's not just what you're working on, it's also *** you're working ****. Some of my teammates would understand what I mean.
Anyway, here's a
rant from one of my teammates - very colorful, if I may say so.
Part III: Christmas Wishlist, and Stress
These two don't really go well together, but hopefully the former will help alleviate the latter.
