Next week, I think I'm going to start up a music-sharing feature. It'll be awesome. And contain plenty of strange and exotic music. I'm taking requests now, so...y'know.
Work's still going well. The parking lot gets filled up before I can get there, so I get to take a nice half-mile hike every day. That's half a mile one way. My knee is not enjoying this, although I kinda am when the weather is warm and the sun is shining. But only a little, and never in the freezing cold morning. But hey, it wakes me up.
I'm about 97% sure I'm on the list for the Countrywide project, which is a very good thing, considering that will mean I'm employed until at least September, most likely through October, and hopefully beyond. Claims analysis is boring, but it's a job I can do, a job I can do well, in an environment I kind of adore, and so I'm not gonna complain, especially when I can listen to my radio all day and not be bugged. My cube cage has a couple of awesome Dutch people, and our tech guy, Don, is pretty damn awesome. His kid's kinda cute, too. Looks just like his daddo.
I'm going to be staying out in Beaverton for a while on Thursday. Plans have been set with Sionna for a sentai viewing party, which will be strange and epic all at the same time. I'm a little nervous, since I've only met her once, but still, it was at her house and she doesn't really seem like the type to kidnap me for her own nefarious purposes. For one, I think her cats would object to a pet larger than them in the house.
I still like dolls, and I'm still throwing back soda like water. The more things change, the more they stay the same, I suppose.
