I'm watching some gameplay of FFXIII. I've found myself actually enjoying the plot, and hope someone makes a movie from the cutscenes some day.
More than that, I've started shipping already. Vanille, the cute and perky Australian hippie chick, with Sazh, the older black man with a 'fro and a Frocobo.
Vanille is 19. Sazh is 40. This makes me feel a little dirty, but...more because Vanille is only 19 physically and is actually 519 and I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THE 19/40 AGE DIFFERENCE. Oh, Squeenix.
But they have this cute little scene about 4 hours in, and Sazh is all YOU ARE TOO YOUNG TO BE DOING THIS YOUNG LADY and Vanille is like OH YEAH I'M TOO YOUNG in that manner that 19 year old know-it-alls do and I DON'T KNOW WHY. But it engages Shipper Mode.
Not as much as Vanille and Fang, but then they've had FIVE HUNDRED AND NINTEEN YEARS to garner all that delicious lesyay UST, so.
Also, Hope needs to die. In a fire. There's being a cute girly-boy, and then there's "Son, are you sure those are testicles, not ovaries?".
