(no subject)
My dad sent me a care package this week (and led to the best conversation I've had with him in years, but that's not the point). While some items made me go O_o, others are invaluable.
A list!
~ 1 new, unused toothbrush
~ 1 new, unopened bottle of baby powder
~ 1 new, unused bottle of moisturizing lotion
~ 1 package of disposable Lady Schick razors (I TOLD you some of them were strange.)
~ 3 pairs of toe socks! (Blue with sleeping sheep, pink with sleeping sheep, blue with pandas!)
~ My favorite old night gown. (Blue with moons and stars and a zipper and POCKETS~!)
~ My old cappucino machine.
I have since learned that the cappucino machine, if I weren't so frightened of the massive steam outpour that results when I froth the milk, makes absolutely perfect lattes (and presumably mochas). The espresso is perfection, and I only needed to use a couple packs of Sweet 'n' Low. But even with badly frothed milk and artificial sweetner, this tastes better than a lot of coffee shops I've been to. If I had some white chocolate sauce, I'd whip me up a White Chocolate Mocha to make Starbucks cry.
