with andrew, there are other issues involved, though, my dear - namely, i can't pay rent/utilities/find/buy a car on my own [which i need to get to work]; andrew may be insane and ridiculous, but i've been much less stressed about monetary shit (if nothing else) for the past couple months cuz his parents - well, you know how it goes.
he's said he's going to go attempt to get help after i threatened to make him leave repeatedly, which he has been completely refusing to do for the past 5 months or so, due to the fact that any help he would get would be society 'reprogramming' him. we'll see if anything comes of this; maybe now he actually feels some sort of pressure to get shit together. or at least try. or at least attempt to try.
there are some apparent 'legal issues' that i hadn't really considered with my friends moving down here; i would basically be contributing 1/2 my bank account to getting them out of this and that, moving their asses down here.. and then if they can't find jobs?? yeh, fuck.
things are generally ok though, for some strange reason. i would love to come visit you (and ben and esther and all da debs diaspora); it won't be during DC-time because sunday i gotta be back in NC for some swimming instructor cert. crap. bah. one of these days, though, one of these days. i'm serious - i would love to experience NYC. but only for a minute, then i'd get freaked out.
