I'm so mixed about there being a S6, with it potentially becoming Smallville 2.0 with its shit quality and despairing pit where the actors never crawl out from to do anything else ever again. Which is exaggeration, because it'll never be that bad, S6 has to be the end, but oh god, please let it be a post-apocalyptic (non-meta) world setting ( Read more... )

Your icon is GORGEOUS. God, I love the Harvelles SFM, and 5x10 fucking GUTTED me. I think there've been some fabulous women on this show; I don't understand the need to kill EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM OFF WHY.

Of course, SPN will redeem itself to me if they bring Tamara back. Or have someone new who's equally badass. Need more along the lines of this:

RIGHT. Even some of the Crossroad Demons - like the one that Dean made the deal with, shit, she was AWESOME. Casey the demon was amazing, and even Virgin Nancy was pretty badass in a horrible situation. Young!Mary still is probably my all time favorite. :D And Demon Meg, version one or two. I liked them both - though Nikki Aycox was just...AMAZING I can't get over how much I miss her on the show.

I hope we get some new badass women! Especially someone who could take on the Winchester Brothers. That would be awesome. ;D

That Crossroad Demon was SO HOT, unfff, I remember her quite fondly, yes. I don't know why/how I forgot to include Casey/Sasha Barrese! But definitely seconded. I LOVED young!Mary -- she was perfection. And I think Rachel Miner did a great job, but she, along with Genevieve, suffered from having to take the mantle from such BAMFs like Nikki Aycox and Katie Cassidy. Like, who could stand a chance?

YES. I really would prefer more female hunters over female monsters or victims, please and thank you.

I AM HOLDING OUT HOPE FOR FLASHBACKS/NIGHTMARES/DEMONIC POSSESSIONS, what have you. It won't be the same at all, but I just want them back on SPN somehow, like they brought back Jessica. :(

RIP the Harvelles, still weepy and bitter as fuck. :'( And Lexa Doig! That women is so fucking HOT; love the sci-fi ladies. Agreed on all the Joss ladies you mentioned, ESPECIALLY SUMMER GLAU, UNF. Also, in my dreams, Juliet Landau, Stephanie Romanov, Gina Torres, or SMG herself. ♥♥♥

I remember reading even that both actresses were surprised, to be brought back and then killed off so soon. Of course they took it with better grace than I did. :'(

I know right?! Scrolling through these pictures pretty much blew my mind. Supernatural does such a good job putting these ladies through the revolving door that too often all I get are faint impressions. I love those girls in the b&w set, the ones who managed to stick around just that little bit longer. :')

I'm not sure I'll ever get over it, tbh. I need both ladies back on my TV! It's hard being a fan of girls in SPN, sigh. But maybe Kripke & co. can/will surprise us in this potential 6th season. I can only hope!
