NEW YORK CITY!!
Well, Jenn and I made it to New York City! :) Yayz! it's been a sorta crazy day! We just got settled down into the hotel and we are eating delivery chinese (yum! Thanks Jenn *sends kissies*) EDIT: okay, I fell into naptime before I finished this entry. It's now 5 hours later and Jennifer and I are happy and refreshed and hunting for some yummy indian for suppers :D
About our trip so far:

We got up WAY too early this morning to fly to NYC. I had left the light on in my car, so thankfully the shuttle driver stopped and let me turn it off so I didn't have a dead car to return to *whew!*
We had a debacle with the bo staff this morning. Security didn't believe it was a "walking stick" and I had to check it. *grumbles* Thankfully the Airline peoples were nice and didn't charge me to check it. However, I'm not going to go thru this on the way home, so JENN'S BO STAFF IS UP FOR GRABS. It will be left with someone here. Any wanters of the staff must talk to Jenn. ;)
In the plane, Jenn found that someone had already been drinking who had sat in her seat before her:
Also on the plane, I found this little gem:

After about 2 hours in the shuttle, driving thru NYC traffic (it was COMPLETELY insane. I lost count of the times we literally almost died.) we got the the hotel. Here is Jenn unpacking in our TINY hotel room.
Pretty standard for a NYC hotel room, but it's gunna be a tight squeeze. Just warning you peeps.
PROBLEM WITH MONIES! Argh, I tried to check in, and the dumbasses said that my card was declined. Well, that would be because I don't have the whole moneys in my bank account. ARGH. It didn't used to work this way with my bank, I used to be able to make a pre-authorization, and as long as the charge didn't go thru, it was fine. *grumbles* Now it's being dumb. This means I need everyone to pay me the monies they owe as soon as they can after they get to the hotel ( here are the totals that people owe) I'm sorry about this. I'm rather grumpy with my bank right now, as well as with the hotel. They pre-authorized the $$$ for the hotel MONTHS ago when I first reserved (before they changed thier policy) and now they're pulling bullhookey on me. I think I'm going to look into opening a checking account elsewhere. I'm so sick of WellsFargo's fees and shananigans. *sigh*
Also, regarding ninja new york. I called to make reservations, and the only time they can get us in on Saturday is at 5:00PM. Because there is a larger group, that was the only time they had available. This means leaving the con at like 3:30 so we can get changed and get there in time. Is that okay with everyone? PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. I had to reserve it with a credit card since there are 8 of us, and if I have to reduce the number, I'd like to tell them as soon as possible. I, myself, am a little iffy about this one. On one hand, I'd like to go because I want to spend time with the group, but I'm kinda grumpy about a)leaving con so early and b)the food being rather expensive & limited. :\ So if we decide to go into 2 groups for supper on saturday night, that's cool. I just want to know asap, so PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
