Happy reading~! ♥
Suzuki Taiyou continues to live his life-long dream of becoming a great preschool teacher, and be an ally any kid could rely on. His days pass on quite cheerfully, having gained the trust and respect of many parents and co-teachers. More males, too, have started becoming preschool teachers.
His dream really had come true, and every passing day was a peaceful day well-lived. And it was during one of these days, during lunch, that he spotted one of the kids assigned to him push another class's kid to the ground. Immediately, Taiyou fled to the scene.
"Heeey~~" He called to the kids as he ran towards them, hiding his worried tone behind an endearing voice. Before he reached the group of three kids--the victim, the offender, and a kid behind the offender--the victim had already run off to his classroom, crying his assigned teacher's name.
That's gonna be trouble... Taiyou thought to himself. He heaved a sigh as he slowed down his steps, approaching the two kids left with caution. He'll think about what to tell the principal later.
"Kazu," Taiyou said dearly, crouching next to the offending child to look at him in the eyes, hands on his knees. He patted the boy, Kazu, on his head before continuing, "what happened?"
The anger in the 4-year-old's face was clear. His cheeks were flushed red, eyebrows furrowed, lips pursed in a frown and eyes starting to well up with tears. What could the other kid have done to make this one feel so angry?
"That Nakai, he... He made fun of Ohchan's dream!" The boy fumed. The kid with spiked up brown hair who stood silently next to Kazu, holding a blue stuffed fish, was taken a back by the volume of his friend's voice. He pulled on Kazu's arm to try and calm him down.
"Don't get mad, Kazu..." He spoke softly, his droopy eyes filled with concern.
"Of course, I'd get mad!" Kazu screamed again, letting out the rest of his anger. He spoke a few seconds later, calmed down after a deep breathe. "You have a great dream, Ohchan."
"I see." Taiyou smiled wide, touched that his students, however young, already have a strong attachment to dreams, even sensing that some dreams are worth defending against others. "Well, I'm sure Satoshi-kun has quite a nice dream." Taiyou shuffled his feet a bit to turn towards the kid with spikey brown hair. "What is your dream, Satoshi-kun?"
The brown-haired kid looked up at his teacher with big, sparkling eyes and clutched onto his stuffed toy as if greatly excited to say his dream out loud. He took a few moments of silence, making Taiyou anticipate his answer, before he spoke: "I want to be a fish!"
A fish?
"They're so graceful in the water, and my dad says it's so much fun to catch them! I want to be one!" The spike-haired kid continued talking, his eyes still shining bright with excitement. Taiyou found it amazing how something could make a usually non-reactive kid be filled with so much passion.
"See, Sensei? Ohchan's so amazing." Kazu chuckled, curving his lips to a smug grin.
"Aww, Satoshi-kun~~~" Taiyou beamed. He took the kid in his arms and squeezed him tight. "Satoshi-kun, you're too cute~~ I'm sure you'll make a very good fish!"
"R-really, Taiyou-sensei?" Satoshi beamed even more, and hugged his teacher back.
"Ah!" Kazu started fuming again. "Stop being so friendly with Ohchan! I'll hate you, Taiyou-sensei!"
Taiyou laughed as his student tried to pry his arms off the other one. He gave Satoshi one last squeeze before turning to Kazu. "And what about you, Kazu? What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"Heh, that's pretty simple, Sensei." Kazu replied, with Satoshi nodding wildly at him. The free-spirited kid then raised one fist up to the sun, placed the other hand on his waist and shouted loud, "I'LL BE THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD!"
"Go, Kazu!" Satoshi cheered him on, clapping his hands.
Ah~ my kids are so amazing. Taiyou thought to himself, crying deep inside at how passionate his students are.
"Taiyou-sensei, Taiyou-sensei!!!" A loud, cracky voice came from behind him as small arms curled around his back. "Hear my dream, too! Hear my dream, too! I wanna be Yatterman!!"
"That's amazing, Masaki-kun." Taiyou smiled, turning his head to look in Masaki's direction, who was then standing an arm's length away from him, hands to his waist. Yet another passionate one. "You want to fight for justice and save the needy?"
"I want a panty mobile!" Masaki beamed.
Taiyou was caught off guard by the answer. A panty mobile?
"Coz Yatterman's logo is a panty, right? I'm right, right, Taiyou-sensei? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~~~~"
"No, stupid." Kazu leered at him. "It's a letter Y!"
"Stop being so mean, Kazu! You know it's true! Ah, no, wait. Rather than Yatterman, I want to be a bird!"
"No, you can't be a bird! You might eat Ohchan if you're a bird."
"Naaah, I will only eat meat when I'm a bird. Idiot Kazu. HAHHAHAHAHHAHA~~~"
"Fish has meat, idiot."
"Stop saying 'idiot', idiot!"
Amidst the two bickering, with Satoshi watching them gleefully, and Taiyou's impending headache, another kid approached him and pulled on his sleeve.
"Ah, Jun-kun. You've been silent there for a while." Taiyou turned to face him this time. "Do you want to say something?"
"Taiyou-sensei, I..." Taiyou smiled at Jun as he waited for what he wanted to say. Perhaps this will be another passionate dream? He smiled wider in delight, wanting to inspire his kids more and more with such passion-filled dreams.
It was then Taiyou noticed the bright hue of red coloring Jun's cheeks.
"Jun-kun?"
"I... I want to marry sensei!"
"... EH?"
"AHH~ JUN-PON!!!" Masaki tugged at Jun's arm, shaking the kid. "I wanted to say that, too."
"Mama told me I should say it straight at sensei's face and said 'she'll definitely say yes.' I did it!" Jun beamed.
Satoshi approached Jun with an amazed look on his face. "T-that's great, Jun-kun."
"Just like how Ohchan's gonna be with me forever. Right, Ohchan?"
The four continued going on and on about their dreams. Taiyou could only gaze at the sky above as the four kids continued beside him. He was completely dumbfounded by what just happened.
Maybe some kids' dreams... have to be controlled a little bit. Just a little bit.

AFTERNOTES: Well, hi theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!!! I haven't written anything in so freaking long!!!! I'm so sorry I suddenly disappeared. Uni life pretty just ate me up.
Well, here's a new story! I was planning to post a smut one, but I guess that will have to wait for next time.
Aren't these four kids super cute? I hope I still caught their current characters. lol Doesn't this seem likely to happen if the four were turned into kids and became Taiyou-sensei's students? Haha. So cute. :3
In case the last part where chibi!Jun says "Mama told me I should say it straight at sensei's face and said 'she'll definitely say yes.'" confused you, he said 'she' because his Mama thought Taiyou-sensei her son talked so fondly about was a girl. :P
Hope you enjoyed it! :D
