she's alive!
so i have found out the key way to loose a lot of wieght...get violently sick with a stomach virus...ya...since friday i've lost five pounds
it was really sad, and according to greg, slightly ironic, that i got sick on friday. i cooked for my family and greg...i made italian chicken skillet with penne pasta with a salad which was really good...but i will never eat it again. i was the only one who got sick; i didn't even eat that much. but anyway, i had to stop washing the dishes and lay on the couch with greg because i couldn't stand up anymore without getting really dizzy. then it started about half way through the movie...i was in the bathroom every half hour until i had to get up for work the next day at 4:30am! my boss sent me home cause i was sick and partly because i kind of hit his shoe when i was crouched over the trash can. lovely.
so for the entirty of saturday, i laid on the couch in the living room and phased in and out of sleep. i couldn't get up and walk without getting dizzy and falling to the ground.
greg came over for a little while but he came right when my parents left so he had to leave pretty soon. stupid parents. i didn't feeling like getting into deep shit while i was sick. so he watched a little of the movie with me and kept my forehead cool until he called his dad about half an hour later.
since friday all i've eaten has been about a half filled coffee mug of lipton chicken broth and this morning i took my chances on a small bowl of cereal. i really don't have any disire to eat anything...and that's making my parents slightly upset, o well, they're at church right now...so i'll enjoy it while i can.
ok, so this week wasn't that bad except for chemistry...don't even ask...at least i passed the class. i'm still waiting to go the salvation army with sam and haley for dresses but we haven't been able to yet...but if we don't go, christy lent me this gorgeous red strapless. i just have to get it dry cleaned and do something about the hem...you see, christy is 5 feet tall and i'm 5'3, so ya, the dress is a little short...but i can either hike it up a little and make it tea length or go get a black petty coat to peek out the bottom to give it a couple more inches.
on friday, i went to go meet emily. she just moved here and starts school on tuesday, ouch. so i took christy and greg with me and we were there for about an hour talking to her and her parents. i met ms. wisdom and mr. anley this summer before they were married, very sweet couple. emily is very sweet as well and in no way acts her age.
i feel bad cause i backed out of so many activities this weekend. movie with christy and emily, time with greg, rosebud with mom, lauren's suprise party, salvation army with haley and sam...ya, i'm pretty much bound to home until at least tomorrow.
