The lovely Tuesday.

As I said yesterday I went to wax and it seems waxing exorcised my bad mood (or maybe the PMS is coming to an end. I hope so). I even went to my class feeling renewed, despite the rain (and being soaked wet). Unfortunately I should had payed more attention to what the Professor said in class, as she answered the question to an essay we have to write to Thursday :/

Well, what's gone is gone, no sense in crying over it.

+++++
Yesterday I finished watching The Borgias. I also watched Sunday's True Blood episode and, really, this series couldn't be worst. I think the drugs may be affecting Alan Ball's brain. He totally destroyed Eric, Sookie is useless and the only think worth a little is Arlene's baby. Where is True Blood!? What is this programme they are showing us every Sunday night?

But back to The Borgias. I loved the season, really did. It took me sometime to start watching, but once I've started I couldn't stop. Watched two by two until the very end (so I could read my friend's reviews that were done 2 by 2 as well). I think the idea was to show the Borgias as human beings, more likable than the History normally portrays them. Or maybe all the others are also so corrupt that even them can't be so terrible as people usually say and think.
All in all, I'm really happy with the season and the cast they chose. I'm not exactly a Jeremy Irons fan, but he was amazing as the Pope. We could never say where lies his interests...in the church, his family, the power of papacy, all the above...
Cesare was also a glad surprise. He was definitely my favorite character. Obviously François Arnaud handsomeness helped me to enjoy Cesare, but the character itself also gained my heart. His love for Lucrezia, the way he was always ready to his father and his mother, even his capability to plot against his enemies (and specially his father's enemies) made all the difference to me.
Lucrezia, it seems, has been people's favorite. I like her, but not as much as I expected. I think I wanted more viciousness and she's so sweet...too sweet to her own good. And I am an incest fan, so I wanted to see her and Cesare. I don't have a clue if they were together or not in real life, but I wouldn't mind to see them as a couple in fiction.

And now I have to go back to work....too much time thinking about tv ^_^.
