(no subject)
three days off and it felt like one and a half. i hate obligations, i really do! all of sunday was spent shuttling between nat's mom's and my grandparents place. i was surprised that i was the only one who made ANY contact with the grandparents... my dad didn't even call them.
my family is so weird though, we're all losing touch with each other even though we all live fairly close to each other. there's this feeling of resentment between everyone and though it goes unspoken, we all tend to avoid each other because of it. oh well, at least i got points for stopping by with presents for them!
i got a lot of small presents but my favorites were all
nat and i decided last month that we'd be getting each other a couch for xmas since our current one is his old futon from college and it's seriously the most uncomfortable thing ever. we finally picked one out yesterday and here it is:
only we're getting it in an apple green color which takes about eight weeks. man, it'll be so nice to have some REAL furniture finally!
