(no subject)
weekend was ok- did some shopping and errands and got stuff done. saturday we hung out with sam and lenai and had beers and played pool then went back to their place and sam read tarot cards for everyone. he was very annoyed at how positive and great my spread was- what can i say! i asked about housing since the market's coming back down to reality, or so it seems. my spread seemed to say that whichever direction i go in- renting or buying- will work out great. ok!
i suppose first we have to decide if we're moving back to seattle or not.
also on saturday, i tried to find 'keys to theosophy' by hp blavatsky at powells but they only had her masterwork. boo! now i have to order it. i actually went in with a list of non-fiction to buy and ended up only getting two novels. i can't even remember the last time i read a novel which is funny cos that's almost all i ever read. until this year at least.
oh i don't think this week can even go fast enough. wednesday after i get off work we're heading up to seattle to spend thanksgiving with nat's cousin and her friends. we love them so much, it's really great being able to eschew family and spend time with friends instead. only drawback is that we're having my mom puppysit penelope and my sister's coming to get her TODAY. we don't get her back until next SUNDAY!! i am so freaking out about this... a whole week without my pup! so unfair and worrisome. my mom has watched her a gazillion times before so i know she's in good hands but still! i always worry she'll forget all about me or worse- think nat and i have abandoned her. sniff sniff!
all right, i'll shut up about it. lunch is over anyways- our voicemail was down this morning and i didn't know about it. i thought it was SOOOOO great that i hadn't any phone calls today just to get 20 voicemails in my inbox just before i went to lunch. geee, great. if there's one thing i hate, it's dealing with calls from escrow. blehhhh!
