(no subject)
for some reason i feel weird writing in here. i have another journal that i usually write in instead- is that considered unfaithful do you think?? well consider this my trying to make it up.
last night i dreamt i worked in a home for children and old people. it was a big, old building with lot's of gorgeous details. it was a very happy and calm job and i really liked it. somehow it turned into a movie starring mark ruffalo and his mom lived in the home and he began to wander around the building and ran into me. of course i fell in love with him right away and began to explore the building with him. at one point we entered his mom's private room while she was in therapy and it was amazing! midevial details and huge windows and a huge terrarium in the middle of the room and (!) small helicopters flying around slowly, with fish bowls full of fish attached to them by small wires. i was in love with the room and mr. ruffalo and then i woke up and was like "as if i'd ever love mr. ruffalo!".
i bought some cd's this weekend and played with my ipod some more. is there anything those things can't do?? we went to the apple store and nat fell in love with the nano. it looks like it should come with candy to me- it just looks like a toy. i like the size and weight of my photo ipod. it's small but substantial. nat really wants the nano but i'm like, "pay $50 more and get five times the storage capacity- DUH!!". boys and gadgets, i swear.
i also went shopping for fall clothes and got blazers and thermal shirts and stuff. fun fun. also told nat last night that we're buying a REAL couch dammit! we've been using this huge futon he's had since college and it's so uncomfortable. i made the cover out of an ikea duvet cover when we moved in and it never quite fit right and i noticed yesterday that the thing is filthy!! he keeps saying we can buy a couch when we buy a house but with the way that's going it means we'll NEVER have a couch! i'm sick of waiting so i'm jumping in. now to find something cute and CHEAP!
