So, we finally went to a strip club. The idea had originally been to go for my birthday, but I spectacularly failed to actually plan it, so it got pushed to Jen's. This was a first time for everybody except Sarah J. I'm going to start by recounting what happened, as best as I can remember it (I was rather distracted, both by what was happening

Serenity was the first to greet us, and while she may have brought up the idea of a private dance, she did not outline the costs upon her first visit, because it wasn't until days or weeks later that I found out how much it cost.
The second dancer to come up to us was Isis.
Collin was the first to show interest in sitting by the stage, but didn't want to sit by himself. I asked the group who was brave enough to accompany him, and Matt obliged.
I think Sarahendipity and I were the next to sit by the stage. She flittered back and forth and it was then that she asked which dancer I wanted a private dance from. I saw out of the corner of my eye that she and the group were talking to Serenity, presumably about my dance.
As for the set being dedicated to me, I just remembered something! I was talking to someone in our group when the DJ had said something over the PA. Our group started clapping and someone said, "Jen, did you hear that?" I said no, but it was never explained to me what was said. Until now, I had mostly forgotten about the incident and had assumed it was just a shout-out for my birthday.
And yes. That was definitely the best gift I've had in a long time. :)

Cost structure: I'm still not convinced that she didn't mention it. With the music in there, it's perfectly possible to be three feet away from someone and have no idea what they're saying.
Isis: Argh! My apologies to Kylie and Isis for failing to remember. I'm usually much better with names. Thanks for the catch!
Who sat by the stage and when: I left out a play-by-play of who went to the stage and when because this post was already quite lengthy and I didn't think it was particularly relevant. Especially from my perspective, where the primary detail was that I didn't sit at the stage for quite some time.
Your dance: Yep, that was what she was doing. I don't know that any of the rest of us would've been brave enough to just go up to Serenity and ask ;-).
I think I can speak for everybody when I say that we're exceedingly happy that you enjoyed it so much.
