OC getaway
how SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR it is to get away.
we had all kinds of fun, such as eating mucho fast food/ restaurant food, driving with puppies, having favorites, going shopping, singing waaay to loud, waving at/avoiding hot guys, making fun of jenn ALL the way down, yelling words at traffic. reminiscing and BEACHING it like whoa.
one nite, we all stayed up till realllly late. talking about all kinds of things. somehow it got to be a reallllly meaningful conversation where we learned a lot about each other and really got into every important issue. starting out with boys/pasts, feeling older, commitment, careers, marriage, then onto war, alternatives, bush, what we look for in a President/leader , London, 9/11, feeling safe, religion, cancer, life, death, sheesh, and everything in between. It was one of the best weekends I've had lately, and the fact that it was not only fun but also truly meaningful...
what a bunch of intelligent, deep people that know how to kick back & relax! :-D
More on the fun side: There are some things I apparently can not NOT say, but who knew? oh, and apparently I can be pretty mean in combination with lala/laura :-d but its fun, as should be the time at which these phrases' use diminishes!

I...I think that some people enter our lives and change them, and we will never regret the effect and connection they have had, and that these people are people we are truly *meant* to meet and often, believe in. These people are the people that touch us, inspire us, and make us grow beyond who we used to be. They remind us of the people we would like to be, not be, and used to be. I have a list that is posted "privately", but if you're on it, you already know...
Also, I kinda wanted to go into my thoughts about some of the issues we discussed that night, but, maybe some other time.
life's not all about the song and dance, its about the love that its insired it :-D
