back in the BC
If you've been wondering where I've been the past few days, you might be surprised to know that I've moved back home. Yes, I'm back in Bruce County.
Today I start my new job at Godfather's Pizza in Walkerton. I only have a one hour orientation shift today, but once I'm completely trained, I will most likely be working the evening shift, til 11pm close.
Yeah, I moved back home. It kinda sucks, cuz we can only get dial-up out here in the boonies, but that just means that I don't spend all of my time on the computer anymore. There's lots to do around here, as Mom isn't as much of a neat freak as Connie was. I was sad to move out of her house, but I think that it was the right decision. Although, I did have a couple days of feeling like I had gone completely insane, as in, WTF do I think I'm doing? But I'm starting to readjust to country living. It's kinda nice to have access to a vehicle again.
After a lovely weekend at the cottage (well, lovely despite the horrible weather), I'm feeling refreshed and ready to go on the next phase of my life. What will happen? Where will it lead? Who knows?
So there you go. I'm back home, living with my parents and brother. My Dusty dog is quite happy to have me home, that's for sure. And Mom and Dad have gone to Halifax this week, so I've got the house to myself for the most part. I've got my computer set up, but it's not hooked up to the internet, so I'll mostly be using it to listen to music and to play jigsaws and the like.
Anyway, I should go jump in the shower and get ready for work. Hope all is well with all of you in your lives.
