NaNaNo WriMo Update
So I think I'm coming through my writers block on Xerxes. It was really a humdinger. Now if I can just get over what's up my collective rear and get over my subconscious issues with writing femslash on Vashti, maybe things will really get rolling...
So what is the basic premise...? Well.... right now I'm debating on how I should deal with Vashti... I'm trying to interweave some femslash, and she's the obvious bet. Right now I've just introduced her as a 'board rich bitch'...and I'm thinking on having her bored self come on to her female assistant. They get hot and heavy...
Vashti leaves, and then the woman 'ends up dead'.... It's definitely a good way to start to get rid of her, because she has to leave. The thing is, I don't want Xerxes to send her away/divorce her because she two timed him with a woman. However, if her taste for women is well known, and one of her 'women' ends up dead...
And then she's caught with another prince? I think that's a good modernization of what happened in the original tale. She would be playing him for a fool....
Okay, I've dealt with that...
Next, I'm developing the eunich character, but I think I'm going to twist this too. This individual will be a 'non-breeder', both sexes and yet not one or another. I'm stealing a mutual name here, the character is going to be named Daire.... which is a good non-gendered name. This one's going to be cool... an guard, but also assassin. Daire's going to be one of Xerxes most trusted followers, and friends.
I'll have to get that all set up.
One last thing Jenn? Can I have Dace cameo? I want her to be with someone in the Fantasy sex club, that's in the back of Xerxes club? ~Please...Please~? Or can she be protecting one of the princes? I know this doesn't quite mesh with LWM's... but it would be a heck of a lot of fun to have her show up for a cameo lol....
