LONG overdue update
Yes, it lives. It has been rather busy. Otherwise it would have written.
I'm in ATL with Sean almost every other weekend (when Mom can watch my kidlet), which includes visiting with friends and gaming. The alternate weekends we are home for what is called "Silvermeet". This is a Friday afternoon through Sunday night (or later) gathering of friends for hanging out and gaming.
I've taken up card modeling. It is fun. It is MUCH cheaper than buying plastic miniature landscape, buildings, etc. for our Silvermeet games.
Have figured out that model railroad "O" Scale is the same as gaming miniatures.... aka 1:32.
Small person is healthy and eagerly awaiting the return of the school year so she may return to her ballet classes.
I'm more in love with me darlin' Irishman than ever, which is good as we have make the down payment on the venue for WeddingCon (www.weddingcon2009.com) and am trying to come up with specific activities (other than the main event and the Big Shaintar Game).
Have LOTS of Cons going on in the not-too-distant-future. These would be GenCon, DragonCon, Con on the Cob, and WeddingCon, to be specific, though I can't remember whether D*C or CotC comes first.
I look forward to it all, and am finally embracing new and exciting things as being exactly that, rather than running off and cowering in my "cave".
