Gobble gobble
I hope everyone had a "Great Turkey Massacre". I had planned to skip the tradition and just go have Chinese food, but a friend invited us over to share in their festivities. I ate WAAAAY too much. Didn't break my diet. I shattered the sucker! Between the delectably smokey turkey, the broccoli cassarole and the potatoes with cheese, bacon and a double-arseload of garlic... oh my gods I'm STILL feeling fullish today! Funny thing, as roommate T and I were planning on doing Chinese, we were given chopsticks with which to eat! Gotta love Deb's and Reg's senses of humour:)
A merry (and gluttonous) time was had by all. After the feasting, most of the merry-makers stayed downstairs and played cards or whatever while Reg, Brain, and I went upstairs and watched Tropic Thunder. FUNNY movie. NOT for the kidlets (particularly the bit with the tied-up drug addict in withdrawal offering to blow one of the others.. very descriptive in the offer).
Got home around midnightish.
