Fourth of July
My sister is now 22. My Mom really liked buying Meghan stuff with the American flag on it when Meghan was little. It took Meghan a while to tell my Mom that she did not like things with American flags on them. I hope she didn't get anything like that this year.
I had a lovely day where McCann, Kristyn, and I went to La Madeline's and got lovely things. Shit doggy, that soup is good. Then we went to book people. I bought some books. I was so happy to be in a store with not an entire side dedicated to gardening and devotionals. Then crazy people on stilts came into the store. Most people weren't all that phased. That does not happen in Blo-No or Tuscaloosa. Kristyn and I then did Soduku puzzles and then many of us went to Umi's (sp?) to get sushi. We have grand delusions that when we get paid we will get a boat of sushi. Sooo many wonderful things can happen when we get paid. The least of all sushi boat.'
I hope for Nance's sake the cats ate the entire lizard. Nance, I won't come home if the lizard is still there- just so you know.
