Eros and Techne
There is a difference: between desiring someone, and seeing them as a means to an end. Even if the end is something as pure as happiness.
There is a difference, between desire and utility.
Even when utility comes cloaked in desire.
Even when they may be mistaken by each other.
Mistaken for each other.
As so often happens in the beginning.
But the difference becomes clear, in the end.
