for those of you super cool rockers out there, my friends have requested that you check out their new single. The band is Such Radiant Fiction, and they just put their new single 'rest aside' on their myspace page. the site is: http://www.myspace.com/suchradiantfiction and the song will begin playing as soon as you open the page up. It's something different. Not hardcore, but not sappy emo either. And, if you have happened to hear any of their old stuff--HUGE CHANGE. While you're on their page, feel free to add them if you have a MySpace account. They're always looking for new 'friends' and listeners, and you can check out either their EP/DVD that will be released shortly, or catch them at a local show. You can't go wrong with checkin' out a live local band event!
it's always nice to "get out of the box" for awhile--I think we've all heard enough boy bands and teeny bopper music for now. Even the rock station down here leaves MUCH to be desired....so it was refreshing to hear something original in these guys.
So check 'em out! If you dig 'em, let them know by leaving a comment on their MySpace page....otherwise, at least you heard something new today to expand your horizons :)
