so i am going to vent about my TA situation.
i got screwed out of the teaching assistantship because i am not a comm major. the other applicants had 'stronger' applications because they were. so now i am next in line to get the job if someone backs out or doesnt accept. lame? yes.
i have to sit back and wait until they figure out the staffing arrangements for next year.
the crappy thing is that the graduate director says she knows that i will be teaching here. she just doesnt know if it will be in the fall or the spring.
my thoughts...if i am good enough for the spring of 08, why am i not good enough to teach the fall of 07?
