desperate for a way out!
hey everyone! ahh. i dont know where to start..okay the last entry i think i was freaking out b/c the national youth gathering was a week away..now im freaking out because it's over... :( .. it was soo much fun. okay im gonna try to tell everything..but i'll most likely forget half of it..lol
Introduction..
ok. so we get to orland on saturday!( it was me, alena, sara, janie, chip and danny..and our two youth leaders.) and as we are driving down the main road..international drive.. we saw thousands of people with bright orange book bags, the book bags that us 8 would eventually have to wear with the other 35 thousand people (ages between 14 and 18) that were there! so we get our bookbags and go back to the hotel..the Peabody hotel.. and they had these ducks that would walk down this red carpet into a fountain, funny stuff.. then we went to get our rooms, and us four girls (me, alena, sarah, and janie) had the room next to the boys..and our youth leader had a room on the totally opposite side of the hotel.! so basicly we could stay up as long as we wanted and do whatever. then we walked across the street the mall and got a FREE lunch @ hooters. once we left we went to the main area (the convention center) and we had this whole bible study..it was amazing!
so then sunday and monday we did pretty much the same thing. we woke up, had breakfast went to the bible study in the morning, and then during the day they had this place were they had a bunch of games and rides that you could go on..it was soo much fun!
on tuesday we did this servent event and we had to go and pick up trash at this high school.. but it was actually fun. we meet these people from idaho. and it was soo funny b/c the school had band practice and this one kid from idaho would say hi to the band members and no one would say hi back..he might of gotten like 2 hi's out of 50. so then we tried to explain to him that people aren't as friendly as they are in idaho. then it started to pour down raining, and the people from idaho were amazed b/c it doesn't rain that hard there, and while we were in the bus going back they were like..
"woah..look at how the water comes of the tires of the cars.."
"woah. look its a puddle."
"woah. look at the lightining. we never have lightning in idaho."
it was soo funny!
Funny stuff!
ok im gonna try and explain the funny things that happened.
1. it was monday night, and me and alena had ordered a key lime pie from room service, and it was just us two and chip in our room, b/c the other people had gona down to the dance. So yeah, once we finshed we were putting the tray outside of our door so the maids could pick it up, when alena saw an FSU hat outside our door, so of course i go out and step on it, and i said that we should vandalize it..but chip was like "no we shouldn't do that" so instead it decides to scream SEMINOLES SUCK in an empty hallway at midnight..lmao..so he runs inside the room, and im behind him, but the thing is our door doesn't stay open it closes if no one is holding it, so as im going towards the door its closig on me, and somehow i triped over me own feet, slammed my leg into the wall and did a belly flop into our room with a glass of water in my hand, and the ice goes ALL over our room, but somehow when i did my whole bell flop, the glass was still in my hand but eventhough the ice was all over the floor it was still half full with water..lmao! we laughed the rest of the night about that!
2. on tuesday night the girls and i decided to go down to the pool, because we hadn't been in yet and it was an amazing pool. so we go down, and start playing some game with a bunch of boys, but once it got to like 11pm we got kicked out of the pool b/c it was closing time. so as we were walking to our towels, the boys from the pool come up to us and we start talking to them, and then sara was like "oh we could just come back here in a half and hour, and they would never know" and on of the boys goes "yeah we could go skinny dipping" and we were all just looking at him with this look..so his response was "well, i had to try..so what room are you guys in so we could go in your bath tub." lmao.. seriously this boy wasn't giving up. then we were waqlking to go in the elevetor and this kid totally eats it! i felt bad, b/c it had to hurt, but it was soo funny!
3.same night...we got busted by security..lmao heres the story..
we had 'family time' with our youth leader until like 1:30am. 1:40am..around there..and as we were walking back, me and alena started talking really loud , and these boys that were in the hallway were like "gosh your loud" so i told them that we were sorry and they were like ohh we were just kidding. and then...::dramatic pause:: we saw the hat! the same one we had stomped on the night before! so we started talking to these four boys..(we as in..us four girls and chip) and we were talking for like 5minutes, but this lady came out of here room, and told us to be quite. so we all go over by the eleveators, and start talking, and we some how decide to go on an elevator ride at like 2 in the morning. so we get in, and the boys pressed like every floor, and we seriously thought the elevetor was going to break, b/c we were all jumpin in it..all 9 of us..so we got out on the 12 floor, and this one of the boys we meet, saw these other youth leaders sitting on the floor and they told him that there was security all over the floor, so we start like pressing the button for the elevetor, but it wasn't coming so we were going to go down the stairs, but then the elevtor came and i go towards it, but as im walking in and there was the security guard! and he was such an asshole! he told us that there was a curfew at 12:30am and all of us were confused, b/c we had just gotten out of our family time. so he told us that he had to speak to our youth leader..one problem, we were scared to take him to our youth leader.. so we took him to our second youth leader, leo, who really isn't our leader, he's more of like a crazy kid, trapped in a 26 year olds body. so the security talks to him, and tells him that we were out poast curfew.. yadda yadda. so it turns out we didn't get in trouble leo was just mad, b/c he was woken up, and he was locked out of his room, b/c the door closed on him..LMAO! and our youth leader. mrs. fisher, still doesn't know about what happend, and she never will! but that night i couldn't get any sleep b/c i felt bad for the boys we had meet.lol ..but we saw them wednesday morning and they didn't get in trouble either, so it was all good. but one of the boys was really nice, and quite easy on the eyes.lol. too bad we hadn't meet them earlier, so we could have all hung out more. but ohh well. i think we got his screen name. :)
so now im home! and i defintly dont want to be, i still wanna be in orlando, getting into trouble with our elevator buddies! :( ..::tear tear::
