if you haven't heard, today SCOTUS (Super Court of The United States) made an absolutely horrific ruling today. in a 5-4 vote, they decided to remove what little regulation existed regarding corporations and campaign advertisements. previously advertising was limited to the parties themselves and whatever groups they gave the okay to. while problematic in itself, i don't think the cure is to open the freaking zoo and let ALL of the animals join in the poo throwing.

corporations should not have legal personhood. it's one thing that has really screwed this country up, and i just see the hole being dug deeper and deeper as time goes on.
