Diamond Cut-1C Live Report
wheeee another live! ^^ hehe yesterday I went to osaka muse to see hysteric, sex android, filia, panic channel, gilgamesh, and death gaze...in that order..i got there with akai..and we got our locker at the hall..and went upstairs...omg it was soooo empty!! O_O i was sooooo shocked O_O hardly anyone was there..there was enough space to put in a goods table..and about 6 tables (u know the kind u stand and drink at?)
once we got in there..we set up base at one of the tables.....and decided to wait for a bit....soon after a gaijin guy walked in and headed towards the front...me and akai were a bit surprised O_O hehe after a bit..akai went up to talk to him ^^ and we learned that his name is areji (which interestingly enough is pronounced juuust like my friend RG's name o_O) apparently he's from kansai gaidai and he's been here from august...and he's seen 54 lives in that period of time (haha u guys thought i was crazy XDDD) well he was really cool..he was telling us about which bands we should go and see and that sort of thing ^^ i'm trying to get tix to a show in esaka muse on sunday cuz he said it should be good ^^ (9bands O_O)
well newayz on to the reviews! ^^well newayz..i can't make ne comments on the lyrics of neeee of the songs..or the mc's..cuz seriously..i was too close the stage...there was the saizen ( the front row of the crazy fans) and us....imagine that XDD i couldn't understand nething..and my ears were ringing the entiiiire day today XDD
first up was hysteric...my kind of band! ^^ yay! very happy bouncy type of music...and interestingly areji said that they were the first band he's seen that had started off in tshirts and jeans..and slowly worked their way up into vk o_O..that is very strange...i ended up buying 3 cds from them :3
second was sex android...according to areji..the vocalist came up to him once..and wanted to practice his english..buut couldn't think of nething...and then decided to scream "mother fucker!" and since areji started cracking up...he kept saying it again and again XDDD well newayz...he was crazy...they were wearing this lab coat over what looked like one of those outfits that gang members wear..u know the shirtless thing..with the stomach wrapped up in some white cloth..and getas ...music-wise..i wasn't too found of them..but i did enjoy the vocalist's performance O_O ....he had nunchucks and was actually fairly good with them...as well as doing it in time with the music...he also had a sword...but he wasn't as good with it ^^;;;
third was filia...hmmmm i really wasn't too fond of this band...i felt kinda sorry for them...cuz they came all the way out from tokyo to try to sell their cds here..but no one bought stuff from them >_> i'm guilty of it too ^^;;;; oh but i got the guitar pick of their guitarist...whose name i dont' even know o_O ...oh wellz ^^;;;
4th was panic channel...now ...tonite it was supposed to be panic ch playing..(the cuter side) not panic channel ( the dark side) so i was kinda sad T_T but newayz..they came out in costumes..that kinda reminded me of phatasmorgoria's stuff...all black with lots of frills..and these strips of cloth hanging off in weird places....newayz..i kinda sorta liked their songs....but i really much rather have heard their cuter side....at the start of the first song..meguru started scratching his chest just like kyo..and i'm like...nooo don't do that o_O it looks painful >_< and they really aren't that many people watching u >_< meh well newayz after a while..he tried to get us to headbang..but meh i wasn't going to do it XD sooo i did the hand motions people do instead of headbanging..and then when i looked up at meguru again..he was mimicking us with a kinda disgusted look on his face -_- ..well i'm sorry i don't wanna headbang for u :P at the last song..he came down from the stage and then stood right in front of me on top fo the railing.... which ..is pretty much in front of me cuz there was only one girl in front of me o_O and i could see that his chest had started bleeding from all the scratching he had done >_< ewwww don't do that >_< and newayz i ended up buying their two new singles...(one from each side of their band) and their keitai strap ^^;;;;
5th was gilgamesh!!!! i loooved this performance!! i can't tell u what songs they played..cuz i don't know :P but apparently their live only cd "omae ni sasageru minikui koe" was in there...thats what areji said newayz XD out of all of the lives that day.....gilgamesh had the biggest fan base..and the saizen could actually do the furitsuke for all the songs they played o_O...and it was just some simple stuff..it was pretty complicated handmotions o_O.....newayz...after about 1/3 into the first song..i started to headbang and everything with everyone else :3 XDDD sooo dizzy after that..but it was sooo fun XD hehe and i even did that thingy where they all kinda scrunched to one side of the room..and then moved to the other side....hehe fun fun fun ..except for the time i fell down....then either areji or akai helped me up ^^;;; the only complaint i have about their show..was that they did the nazi salute...i mean..if it was only the salute..maybe i'ld think..oh coincidence..but nooo there were sounds of soldiers marching in the background...so i'm like..uuuuh.....not to mention it made akai really nervous >_< i ended up buying two of their singles and their live only cd
last was death gaze...and personally i really didn't like them as much as gilgamesh...they shouldn't have been last....they were pretty good though..i found myself kinda taping along with the beat..but...they weren't anything that special..halfway through a song...the bassist fell off the stage..and no one even noticed.... and the song didn't really change that much...but meh...i dunno..also in comparison...their fanbase was smaller than gilgamesh's ..so i dunno..it seemed a bit unfair to me >_<...but i still bought their live only cd XD
at the end..we got our drinks..and headed off home....on the way down the stairs..we saw the vocalist of hysteric carrying out the box with their goods heading home..we followed them out the door (cuz thats the only exit >_>) and we got onto the street..and started following him....and then he crossed the street...and we did too...but its cuz we wanted to go to the combini!! i swear XDD hehe ..although..he must've thought we were following him XDDD its kinda hard not to think that when u have 3 gaijin walking down the street the same place u are XD
