The Secret Code

It's been ages since I posted something here...
Oh, well, nothing much to say actually.
Anyway, heard Tohoshinki's aka DBSK's 4th album last night... GOOD....SO GOOD!! I love how they are always trying to use new styles on their japanese albums. I love the sexy kind of feeling that the songs have.
As for the songs.... Love "Secret Game", it's a great intro and makes me want to hear it lots of times. I went IMAO at Yoochun at the begining... "can you catch me, oh baby cop girl" What is that?? lool. But after the ROFL and after hearing it a couple times, it sounds sexy in a funny way ^^ . I really like "Force", it has a kind of "dark" feeling and the lyrics are great. "Doushite kimi wo suki ni natte shimattandarou?" is great as always; "Nobody Knows" is  a  really good song too and has a very "secret" feeling to it; I always loved "Beautiful you", so it's great to have it on the album; "Wasurenaide" is my favourite song out of the 3 Jaejoong wrote and composed. It's romantic and bitter-sweet at the same time, and the lyrics are just amazing. "9095" is the third song Jaejoong wrote and composed. I was surprised to know he made this one... working hard at composing Jae? ^^ I really think the song is sexy... really...it sounds sexy!! "Mirotic" is amazing either in korean or japanese, although I prefer the origina, in korean, but I got used to the japanese version fast enough. "TAXI"... well... this song is kind of a problem... and why? Because it's so darn good and OMFG so touching and beautiful...!! I mean... when Changmin sings the first line I got goosebumps... the melody is beautiful... but then comes Junsu and sings until the chorus part when Jaejoong comes and that's it!! That was the end! I mean... I love DBSK and their ballads; I got goosebumps with "kiss shita mama sayonara" and absolutely love "love in the ice" but I never actually cried while listening to one of their songs, but as soon as Jaejoong started singing the chorus I just broke down... I mean I was crying all over... Micky-style... the whole face covered in tears. I thought to myself: am I going crazy here? I'm not even depressed! I guess that's how good the song is. The melody is very simple and gorgeous, the lyrics are heart-breaking and their voices are great as always, but Jaejoong... his voice had something... I don't know... you just feel the pain of the song's story through his voice... it's really amazing. So, thanks Jae for making me into a crying mess ^^ .
Then, "Stand up", it's very good to lift your spirit after "TAXI" ^^ I love the rythm and the lyrics, yet again very sexy. "Survivior" I already knew and I really like it a lot (although their dance for it is so ROFL). "Kiss the baby sky", was the song written by yoochun that was in the "Bolero" single... I loved it as I heard it the first time. Although their pitch is really high, the song has such a fluffy feeling^^ and the pv is so cute. Then, "Bolero", already released too and a great song. Makes me curious to see the movie. "9096" is a conclusion to "9095" and to the album. It's a good way to end it. Then the 2cd version + dvd has5 more songs, all already released before, except for "Take your hands" remix version. The one on the "survivor" single was the normal version, which I honestly didn't like much. I liked the chorus, but the song didn't appeal to me. BUT the remix is just AMAZING!! The rythm increased and the remix is really well done and it has a new feeling to it. One of my favourites.

So, overall I love the album. Actually there's not one single song I don't like. I like them on different levels, of course, but I love the whole album. I think it was a good experience to do this kind of album. It has a sexy, dark feeling to it, and at the same time is very Tohoshinki-style. Definitely ordering the album! And I must say that achieving the 2nd place on Oricon charts right behind Ayumi Hamasaki and with a not so big margin in the sales, and staying in front of 2 of Koda Kumi's albums is just amazing. That just shows that Tohoshinki's popularity is definitely increasing by the day.
