I actually thought of you, Sarah! So thank YOU for being a cool, drama-free girlfriend, too! :) (Actually I don't ever have trouble with girlfriends. It's just coworkers. Something about women working together brings out the worst in them.)
Anyway, not Marnie, but GOOD GUESS. We did have our own retarded drama. She got mad about something, dropped me as a fb friend (as you noticed), stopped texting, calling, etc. It was a huge relief because she was borderline stalking me. So I just went out of my way to be co-worker-y friendly to her when I did see her. She eventually came around again and now its pretty much over. That one ended well (for now).
THanks for your sweet words. I don't know what it is that I seem to inspire this nutball behavior in female coworkers but this is my third go around with this! (aging party girl, Marnie and now one, who'll I'll call Polly).
Polly is use to being the center of attention and I think my little internet article (and the positive vibe I've received from it) has been weirdly hard on her. THat's my guess.
Who cares. Just insecurity. I'm tired of babysitting her. Done.
